Wolverine introduced the world to the Weapon X project. A super-soldier project under the aegis of Weapon Plus, it was meant to create the tenth generation of perfect soldiers, using mutants as templates. Wolverine and Sabretooth joined at Romulus's behest, and their mutant healing factors were of great scientific value to the project. Weapon X took what it learned from its experiments on Wolverine and
Sabretooth and put it to work down the line.This experimentation led to Wade Wilson becoming Deadpool, as Weapon X used what they had learned from the various mutants to give Wade superpowers. Wolverine and Deadpool have had multiple encounters, but a question that rarely gets answered concretely is which is stronger, Wolverine or Deadpool. However, some conclusions can be made from their adventures and accomplishments.

To begin with, he has enhanced super senses, which are good but not exactly on Daredevil's level. However, Wolverine's sense of smell is better than Daredevil's. Then, there's his healing factor, which has also changed a lot over the years. Back in the day, Wolverine would heal quickly from cuts, stabs, and bullet wounds, but greater injuries would take more time. It's gotten more and more powerful over the years.
