“Actually, I just got a
today that they got the script in. I can’t grow a real beard and mustache, but they said, ‘Start growing your mustache. It’s gonna take awhile,'” he explained. “I’d be interested to see what the story’s like, and where that adventure takes us. But I’m excited; I know audiences really loved the first one, so we’ll see.”
We also expect Sophia Ali to be back as Chloe Frazer, while a new actor will likely be cast to portray Nate’s brother Sam. We’ll be sure to keep this space updated as and when cast details emerge.
Uncharted 2: What will the film be about?
No plot details about Uncharted 2 have been released. But given how the first movie wrapped up proceedings, the sequel may see Nate and Sully on a new adventure.
Rather than directly adapting the Uncharted games, the events of the first movie drew from flashbacks of the third game while serving as a prequel story of sorts. We can expect that if the sequel gets the go-ahead, it will follow a similar format.
Another potential character who might come into play is Elena Fisher, Nate’s main love interest in the games. And given how Nate’s brother Sam was introduced in the first film’s post-credits scene, it’s likely he’ll play a role in Uncharted 2.
